A search for excellence

Graduating from the Centre National des Arts du Cirque (CNAC) in 1992, Fred Deb’ is a jewel of French contemporary circus in the aerial domain.
Since her beginnings as a founding member of the prestigious French company les ARTS SAUTS, Fred Deb’ has led a demanding career, reflecting her dedication to excellence. Her ever-evolving artistic expression demonstrates her desire to continually push the boundaries of a discipline, the aerial fabric, of which she is one of the founders.

An internationally renowned artist

Her talents have been seen on every continent in performances as different as they are prestigious:
 
- invited to perform in the closing gala of the 2008 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland organized by France (January 2008);
- presented a solo to Schubert’s Eighth Symphony conducted by Mickael Christie during the closing concert of the Colorado Music Festival (July 2005);
 
- performed on a world tour (New York, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Paris, Milan…) for the product launch of the Tambour watch for Louis Vuitton.
 
Fred Deb’ defines herself as an aerial choreographer. Her creations are unique visual stories which integrate both her technical and artistic experiences. 
 
A complete artist, her vision encompasses all the disciplines in which she has collaborated:
  • modern dance: She collaborated with Ron Bunzi (choreographer, sculptor and video artist) for two years in Amsterdam, and in France she has worked with Nathalie Pubellier and Frédéric Lescure. 
  • theatre, she has participated in mixed theatre-circus productions with Véronique Bellegarde (Paris), and Maaike van Langen (Amsterdam).
  • music, she has created singular performances in the Église Notre-Dame-des-Champs in Paris (a presentation of les sonates des Mystères du Rosaire), and La Basilique Notre-Dame-de-l’Epine (the original production of Motets virtuoses et voltige aérienne).
An eclectic artist
She has also posed for painters Nicholas Stedman and Philippe Deutsch in participation with their research about the body in motion. (see Image Gallery)
